EK7000 Resolution vs Recording OnScreen Dimensions

EK7000 Issue with what you see on the screen vs. what it records.

If the camera is in 4k30 mode, what you see on the screen is recorded fine. But if you change it to 1080p, it seems to take the top left corner of the sensor as 'home' and say that the screen recording is to 1920px to the right and 1080px down. Meaning it only records the top left corner of the screen as "1080p" rather than an actual resolution change of the camera.

Is this normal or is there an issue with the camera? I have been fighting this forever and I setup a sample test to see where the cutoff is (since it doesn't have an on-screen one). And did a short clip of 6" from the picture while the paper is in full view on the screen.

I put the two photos on my screens and labeled them so you can see what it looks like.

@drive mad, To avoid missing a shooting chance, charge the crewcuts locations pack and battery pigtails before shooting.

It will gradually lose its charge. Charge the battery pigtails and crewcuts locations pack before shooting to prevent missing a shooting opportunity. You can refer here.
