Brave 4

To keep your microSD card in good condition, reformat it on a regular basis. Reformatting erases all of your content, so be sure to offload your photos and videos first.
1. Press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds to turn on Brave 4.
2. Press the Down button to enter Camera Settings.
3. Press the Mode button and then press the Down button to find the ‘Format’ option.
4. Press the OK button, and the screen shows 'Formatting...' 'Completed'. Then you format your memory card successfully.

Please download the AKASO GO app to your mobile device from the Apple App Store or Google Play first. The AKASO GO app lets you control your camera remotely using a smartphone or tablet. Features include full camera control, live preview, playback, download, sharing of content, and setting the camera.
1. Turn on your camera, long press the OK button to turn on Wifi.
2. Turn on your phone's Wifi to enter the Wifi settings, find the camera Wifi AKASO-Brave4-C1-**** in the list and tap on it, then enter the password 1234567890 to connect.
3. Open the AKASO GO app, tap “Device” → “Add device”, and choose “Brave 4”.
4. Tick "The above operation has been confirmed", and click "Live Preview", your the camera is connected to the AKASO GO app

The Brave 4 action camera features a small front-facing screen that displays basic information such as shooting mode, battery level, and recording status. The specific information displayed on the front screen may vary depending on the camera settings and shooting mode. Here are some examples of what you may see on Brave 4's front screen:
Shooting mode: The front screen may display the current shooting mode such as photo mode, or video mode.
Battery level: The front screen may show the remaining battery level, usually represented by a battery icon.
Recording status: When in video mode, the front screen may display the recorded time to indicate that the camera is currently recording.
Note that the front screen on the Brave 4 is relatively small and may not display detailed information or settings. For more advanced controls, you will need to use the camera's rear screen and menu system.

The Zoom function lets you adjust how close or far away the subject appears in your photo. The default setting is no zoom. The zoom function is available in Video and Burst Photo and Timer Photo Mode. Brave 4 can zoom to 5X.
1. Turn on the Brave 4.
2. Enter Video or Burst Photo, Timer Photo Mode.
3. Press the Up or Down button to adjust the zoom level

To find the firmware version of your Brave 4 action camera, you can follow these steps:
1. Power on the camera and enter the camera settings menu.
2. Press the Mode button several times to switch to Camera Setting Mode.
3. Press the down button to find the "Version" option and select it.
4. You can find the version to check the model, version, and updated time of your Brave 4.
