To reformat your card, tap the setting icon to enter the camera settings and find the format card> Cancel/Confirm
How do I connect the camera WiFi with the smartphone?
Please download and install the AKASO GO app on the App Store or Google Play first. The AKASO GO app lets you control your camera remotely using a smartphone. Features include camera control, live preview, playback, download and settings.
1. Turn on the camera, press and hold the Up button to turn on Wifi. The Wifi name and password will be shown on the camera screen.
2. Connect the Wifi “Brave 7” and enter the password in your smartphone Wifi setting.
3. Open the AKASO GO app, tap “+” icon on the upper right corner. Add “Brave 7” and click “Live Preview”.
4. Your camera will be connected with the AKASO GO app. Images recorded by the camera will be real-time displayed on a mobile phone. You can operate it via related icons related to the software or set function parameters of the camera.
Note: Press Up button if you want to turn off WiFi.
How to find the firmware version?
Please tap the setting icon to enter the camera settings and find "about" to check the model and software version of your camera
Does it support HDMI?
HDMI cannot be supported because the camera does not have an HDMI port.
Is Brave 7 water resistant?
Yes, it is waterproof. It is waterproof to a maximum of 10 meters underwater bare, and up to 40 meters underwater with the official waterproof case accessory.
The following 6 items should be noted when launching the bare battery.
1. Check the battery and battery compartment for foreign objects before installing the battery, as they will affect battery contact and the waterproofing of the device. Make sure the battery cover is fully tightened after installing the battery.
2.Check the USB-C cover for foreign objects and ensure that it is tightly closed. Otherwise, the waterproofing of the device will be affected.
3. Check that the lens protector is in good condition and that it is not damaged, if it is, replaces it and use it. Check that there are no foreign objects around the lens protector or the lens. Foreign objects may damage the lens protection cover and lens and affect the waterproofing of the device. Check that the lens protection cap is tightened before going into the water and ensure that the rubber ring at the bottom of the lens threaded ring has not come off. Be sure to use the lens protection cap, otherwise, the camera will not be waterproof.
4. The camera is not waterproof without the battery, USB-C cover, and lens protector installed.
5. The camera is waterproof to a maximum depth of 10 meters. It is recommended to use the camera with the official waterproof case for a maximum depth of 40m.
6. Do not jump into the water with the camera.
How to switch Between Front Screen and Touch Screen?
Press and hold the Down button to switch between the front screen and the touchscreen camera view. You can't switch between the screens while the video is recording.
Note: The front screen is for display only and does not support touch screen operation
