AKASO at Tell A Friend Tour: Connecting with the Next Generation of Skiers
This winter, AKASO joined the Tell A Friend Tour, a nationwide ski community initiative led by freestyle skier Andy Parry
Spanning 16 stops across the United States from February 1 to March 1, the tour brought together young skiers at local mountains—creating an open and inclusive space for progression, creativity, and community.

A Community-Driven Ski Movement
The Tell A Friend Tour is built around a simple idea: make skiing more accessible, more social, and more fun—especially for younger riders.
Each stop welcomed around 100 participants, primarily kids and teenagers, giving them the opportunity to:
- Ride together in a low-pressure environment
- Learn and progress at their own pace
- Connect with a like-minded community
More than an event series, it reflects a growing culture where skiing is both a sport and a shared lifestyle.
Bringing 360 Capture to the Slopes
As part of the collaboration, Pparticipants had the opportunity to experience AKASO action cameras in real skiing environments, both through giveaways and hands-on use during the events.
Throughout the tour, AKASO products were used to capture:
- Park sessions and progression moments
- Group runs and shared experiences
- First-time tricks and personal highlights
The 360 format allowed users to focus less on camera setup and more on the experience itself—capturing everything and shaping the story afterward.
Why AKASO Supports Tell A Friend Tour

Creating Content That Reflects Real Use
Each stop on the tour generates authentic, unscripted moments.
These are the scenarios where action cameras are truly used—and where meaningful content is created.
